Professional Summary

Mr. Rohde has over fifteeen years of experience in hazardous waste management, hazardous materials transportation and environmental regulatory compliance. He is trained, certified and experienced in Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, UST site assessment, Steel Tank Institute SP001 tank inspections, multimedia sampling, environmental compliance inspection, identification of unknown materials and reactive materials stabilization. 

Mr. Rohde has participated in numerous high chemical hazard responses to stabilize reactive chemicals and package for transportation and disposal. Stabilization responses included remote opening and stabilization of highly hazardous materials such as peroxide forming materials, picric acid, azide compounds and explosives. Mr. Rohde routinely conducts environmental inspections for a variety of regulatory programs including NPDES/SWPPP requirements, SPCC regulations, hazardous waste/WA State dangerous waste, and construction site pollution prevention. 

Past experience includes five years with Clean Harbors Environmental Services as a Sr. Lead Chemist. Mr. Rohde was responsible for leading and supervising a team of chemists in the proper classification, segregation, packaging and transport of hazardous materials and waste from various federal, state and local government agencies as well as private industries in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Mr. Rohde Managed numerous large customer projects requiring extensive experience in both Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency regulations. Additional responsibilities included specialized training in high hazard emergency response.

Current projects with DH Environmental, Inc. include environmental oversight for mass excavations, STI SP001 inspections for SPCC programs, and Dangerous Waste Management for a number of medium and large quantity generator facilities.

Mr. Rohde is a member of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals.
